Not to worry my friend if you are not aware of the patterns or formats of an essay. There are many citation styles and I can help you with that. Here I am going to tell you about the Harvard citation and paper format so that you can use it and make your essay look better.

Without further ado, let’s dive into it.

Paper format:

  • Cover page.
  • Here the title of the paper is about halfway down the page and in all capital letters. Then leave 4 lines down and write the name of your class and leave another line below it and write your professor’s name. After that comes your school name in the next line, the city you live in and finally at the end the date.

  • Header.
  • The header is the shorter form of your title. Do not get too excited there and make it precise.

  • The title is right-justified and it only expresses the main idea. Then put 5 spaces and add the page number.
  • After that just write your essay and put references at the end.
  • Citation style:

  • The citation should be done separately on the last page of your essay.
  • The authors should be arranged alphabetically. If there is some author that is ordered by the source title then no need to arrange it alphabetically.
  • ‘A’, ‘an’ and ‘the’ are excluded while arranging the authors alphabetically.
  • The references are supposed to be double spaced no matter what.
  • It is essential to have a full blank line between each source.
  • It should contain full in-text references at the end of your essay.
  • If there are two authors then use ‘and’ to separate the names of both the authors.

Citing sources is very important because it is essential to tell the readers where you copied that quote from or got the stats for your research or even the idea. It has to be all documented and credit should be given. Just follow the above points and you will be good to go. You can also get help from the paper writing service.
